To connect multiple management companies to one Xero subscription, follow these steps:
1. Log into your agency portal and select ‘Portfolio’.
2. Then select ‘Add Portfolio’
3. Type a name for your management company. This should match the name of your Xero account.
4. Then connect your Portfolio to Xero by clicking the “Connect to Xero” button.
5. Your Portfolio company is now connected to Xero.
5. Select a management company to add to the Portfolio and select Add.
6. Then click the 3 dots on the management company and select ‘Connect Portfolio Xero”.
7. The below screen will pop up prompting you to add an option name and then connect to Xero. The option will create a tracking category option in Xero which is important for the purposes of reporting and accounting for this management company in Xero.
8. Your management company is now connected to this Xero account in Portfolio. Repeat this process to add further management companies.
