There are five main features of the Block Angel resident mobile app. They are:
- Messages
- Management Info
- Building Info
- Report an Issue
- Community Noticeboard
Messages
The Messages feature allows Property Managers to send instant messages or announcements to building residents.
Residents will receive these messages as push notifications.
The Messages screen shows details of the Property Manager and includes an avatar picture of the PM.
New Messages are highlighted with a black bullet point while read Messages show a grey bullet point.
Opening a Message you will see the message ‘title’ the message ‘date’ and the name of the message ‘author’.
Updates and responses to Reported Issues are titled ‘Request notification’.

Management Info
Management Information is a profile of the agency and property manager for a block.
The information displayed includes:
– Name of agency including the agency logo.
– Name of Property Manager including profile picture.
– The address of the agency
– Contact phone number of the agency including emergency numbers
– Contact email address for the property manager
– Office availability hours
Building Info
Building Info is a library of information that can be accessed by residents of a block.
This information can include documents such as:
- House Rules
- Insurance
- Privacy Statements
- Building operational information etc.
Folders are created and files uploaded by the PM. The format of content can include:
- PDF docs
- Web URLs
- Video URLs

Report an Issue
The Report an Issue feature allows building residents to bring issues of concern to the attention of management.
Residents who have downloaded the Block Angel mobile app can create a ticket by completing the form with the following fields:
- Issue Type – dropdown of prescribed issue types
- Location – free form text field
- Description – free form text field
- Add photo – choose from phone gallery or camera
Once a ticket has been created and the Issue has been sent to the Property Manager, the resident will be notified of any updates to the ticket via the Messages feature.
Owners can view the issue that they raised as well as other tickets raised by logging into the Block Angel web app.
Community Noticeboard
The Community Noticeboard allows building residents to reach out to other members of their residential communty in a moderated and friendly forum.
Residents can post announcements, questions or comments and can reply to other peoples post’s.
The Noticeboard is pre-moderated which means that we approve every post that is publised to the Noticeboard in advance of it appearing.
Block Angel does not allow the publishing of obscene, defamatory, threatening, intimidating, harassing, hateful, racially, or ethnically offensive content.
The Block Angel ‘Terms’ outline the ‘Acceptable use of our services’ and provide for the use of moderation and how its application to the Noticeboard. Please refer to our Terms for more information.
Residents can also access the Community Noticeboard from the Block Angel web app.
